捕手Spotter Privacy Policy

Thank you for using 捕手Spotter (“the App”). We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with.

1. What we collect

Information you provide:

• Workout logs (exercises, weight, reps, rest time, notes, and key-frame screenshots from training videos)
• Body weight logs, meal photos, and nutrition values
• Your email address and display name when you sign in with Apple or Google
• Profile info: nickname, friend code, friendships, and partner links
• Profile page details: profile picture, profile photos (up to 6), bio, gym, training goals, and usual training times
• Friend messages: the text, photos, and voice messages you send to friends
• Reports and blocks: reports you submit (the reason and the reported content) and your block list

Approximate location for Find a Gym Partner:

• When you search: your phone’s current location is rounded to a grid of about 2 km and used only to sort results by distance for that search. It is not stored.
• When you let others find you (only if you turn this on): we store your approximate location (about 2 km grid) and district. Others see only “about X km away”, never where you are. Turning it off deletes your location immediately.

Collected automatically:

• Push notification tokens (for rest-timer and friend notifications, never for ad tracking)
• App version and OS version (used only for crash diagnostics)

What we do not collect:

• Advertising identifiers (IDFA)
• Precise location
• Contacts, messages, or full camera videos. Training videos are processed on your device and are never uploaded to the cloud.

2. How we use your data

• Workout and weight logs: shown in the app so you can review your own progress
• AI form check: a handful of key-frame screenshots are sent to the Google Gemini API to get feedback; the feedback is stored on our cloud servers and linked to your account
• AI food recognition: the meal photo you choose is sent to the Google Gemini API to estimate nutrition
• Partners, friends and the activity feed: only people you have approved can see what you share, and only your approved partners can log entries into your account
• Profile page: friends, people you have exchanged friend requests with, and (if you turn on “Let people nearby find me”) other users can see your name, profile picture, profile photos, bio, details, approximate distance, and number of workouts in the last 30 days. They cannot see your weight, meals, or workout details.
• Messages: can only be sent between friends and are visible only to the two people in the conversation. Photos and voice messages are kept in private storage that only the two of you can read.
• Reports: reviewed only by our moderators to handle violations. The reported person is not told who reported them.

3. How we store and protect your data

• Data is stored on our cloud servers (hosted in AWS Tokyo, Japan)
• Row Level Security is enabled, so each user can only access their own data, plus what a partner has been authorized to edit
• All traffic uses HTTPS encryption
• Sign-in is handled by Apple / Google. We never see or store your password.

4. Third-party services

• Google Gemini API (AI analysis; data is used only for the inference request) policies.google.com/privacy

• Expo (push notifications, over-the-air updates) expo.dev/privacy

5. Your rights

• View: see all of your records inside the app
• Export: Settings → Data export lets you download workout and weight logs as CSV
• Delete: delete any record in the app, or use Settings → Delete account to permanently remove the account and all cloud data, including meal photos
• Stop being found: turn off “Let people nearby find me” at any time and your approximate location is deleted immediately
• Sign out: unlink your Apple / Google account from this device

6. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, all cloud data is permanently removed.

7. Children

The App is not designed for children under 13. If you are a parent and find that your child has used the App, please contact us and we will delete the data.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Major changes will be announced in the app or by email.
